This programme is open to 16 - 25 year olds who are working over 16 hours per week in the Leisure Industry in the South East of England.

  • Under 19’s qualify to train for FREE*
  • Over 19’s can complete the programme for £400*

To qualify you must not have already enrolled on any other Apprentice Scheme, NVQ Level 2 Programme or a Degree. This course is seen by many Leisure Centre managers as a core component of their staff training programmes.

* Subject to meeting eligibility criteria and following an interview.

WHAT YOU GET:

  • ASA/UKCC Level 1 and ASA/UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Aquatics qualifying you to teach Swimming to Adults and Children
  • NVQ Level 2 in Sports, Recreation and Allied Occupations
  • Foundation Apprenticeship Certificate (Sports and Recreation)
  • 1st 4 Sport Technical Certificate, Level 2 – curriculum covers your employment rights, health and safety and the wider role of swimming
  • Key Skills Certificate in Application of Number and Communication (If Applicable)
  • On-Going Support and Guidance
