If you are Over 19, employed in the Leisure Industry, live or work in the South East of England, have less than 5 GCSE Grades A-C (or equivalent)and do not already possess an NVQ Level 2 *…

 … Then you may be eligible for a new Government funded training programme;

                   TRAIN TO GAIN

ASA/UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Aquatics - qualifying you to teach Swimming to Adults & Children  

• NVQ Level 2 in Sports, Recreation and Allied Occupations
• On-going Support and guidance
• 18 points towards the ASA Licensing Requirement

WHAT YOU CAN GET AS AN ASA/UKCC LEVEL 2 Qualified Teacher for FREE:

• NVQ Level 2 in Sports, Recreation and Allied Occupations
• On-going support and guidance
• Up to £120 towards an ASA CPD course of your choice (can be more than one course at £40 each)
• A minimum of 18 points towards the ASA Licensing Requirement

NB. This is also available to OVER 19's who have little or no Swimming Teacher Training however they will need to first obtain the ASA/UKCC Level 1 qualification prior to enrolling on this programme.

 * Eligibility will be by Company and self-certification
